I would like to know ways to keep my 12 year old ASD daughter from being
Hypersexual. We have already had some problems with this issue. Attention
has always been her driving force. Thank you

Hi. Thanks for being willing to share your struggle. This is a common concern but one many parents are too embarrassed to seek help with. It's great that you've already identified the reward she's seeking- getting attention from others- which will really help find a solution that works. If you've already sought input about her other sensory processing needs from an O.T., then you might benefit from an ABA therapist, particularly one who has experience in children with ASD. Your daughter may be able to learn how to get her need for attention met in other, more socially appropriate ways. If you find a resource that helps you through this issue, please let us know so we can share it with other parents.

Will we be able to see the answers to the questions we submitted by email?

Hi @mylittlesunshine - We have not gotten any questions yet, other than the one above, to our Q&A request, but when we do we will be sure to post them with their answers to the community group!
